North Dakota`s state wide graduation rate is at 88.4 percent, higher than the national rate. This could be attributed to our way of life.
Darwin Routledge, Bishop Ryan Principal, explains, “It’s a testament to our communities, our parents, our teachers. The fact that education is valued and that`s instilled into people. If you go out and work hard for something you`re going to be able to achieve it and do what you want.”
The study says the rate may be higher now because people need their high school diploma for more jobs.
