Free Firewood Available

Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park is making firewood available to the public for free, in the wake of Missouri River flooding in 2011. Many trees in the park died because of prolonged exposure to water. So, park officials had to cut them down.

People can cut those trees for firewood at no charge.
