I-94 Now Open, No Travel Advisory Lifted

NDDOT | 2/2/2013

The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) and the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) have now opened I-94 westbound and eastbound lanes between Dickinson and Mandan. The No Travel Advisory for northwest and north central regions of the state have been lifted.

A Travel Alert remains in effect until further notice for western and central North Dakota, including Williston, Dickinson, Minot, Bismarck, Devils Lake, Jamestown and surrounding areas due to compacted snow and ice with blowing snow causing reduced visibility conditions. The Travel Alert means motorists can still travel, but may encounter areas of challenging winter weather driving conditions and should use caution.

All travelers are encouraged to monitor road conditions, reduce traffic speeds as weather conditions occur and use caution while traveling.
