Blood Donors Wanted

United Blood Services is asking for blood donors to make up for others who weren`t able to donate because of the winter storms this weekend. They say that several blood drives were cancelled and donors weren`t able to donate because of the weather.

"We are counting on the community right now to replenish the units that were lost. The need for blood doesn`t stop for a storm so it is vitally important that we stock the shelves to ensure that we have enough blood available for patients," said spokesperson Stephanie Radenz.
