Cramer Reacts to President`s State of the Union Address | Video

Alan Miller | 2/12/2013

Our Congressional delegation sat together to listen to the President`s speech Tuesday night. Republican Representative Kevin Cramer says the President started out with some issues that he found common ground with. But then he says Mr. Obama started to stray from issues that are important to North Dakota.

"I actually had some expectation that maybe he`d make an announcement about the Keystone XL Pipeline," said Cramer. "But when he talked about trying to move automobiles off of oil to lessen our dependence on oil, when here we are as a state and now as a nation, with enough reserves to be the number one producer of oil in the world, I don`t really know why he wants to even aspire to that. And I certainly don`t see how it works in an economic model."

Cramer says he thinks the time is right, however, for some sort of immigration reform, as the President indicated.
