State Senate Passes Rural Water Bill

A bill for rural water projects in North Dakota will now make its way to the Governor to be signed. The North Dakota State Senate passed HB 1269, which will provide over $30 million for rural water projects. The bill has an emergency clause that will allow projects to be bid as soon as March.

The bill passed the Senate with a vote of 43-4.
