Kohl`s Scholarships for Volunteers | Video

Kristin Clouston | 2/13/2013

Do you know a student age 6 to 18 who is making a difference in our community? Kohl`s department store is giving away scholarships and gift cards to young volunteers. Each store is giving out two $50 gift cards, and the company is awarding more than 200 college scholarships worth a thousand dollars each.

Kohl`s has been offering the scholarships since 2001.

"One winner went and got a lot of books collected and gave them to needy children that were unable to process books and help that way," said Bismarck Kohl`s Manager Tammy Hoff.

Kohl`s will also donate a thousand dollars to non-profit organizations on behalf of its national winners. You must be 21 or older to nominate students and can do so online through March 15 at www.kohlskids.comwww.kohlskids.com.
