Morton County Files Charges in Horse Case | Video

A Morton County landowner has now been charged with five misdemeanor counts of overworking, mistreating or abandoning animals in Morton County. William Kiefer faces additional charges filed earlier in the week in Burleigh County.

In the charges filed this afternoon, he`s accused of failing to provide food, water and shelter to about 75 horses and mules that were found dead in different areas of his property.

He also faces the same charge for the animals found alive.
