Driver Hits Highway Patrol Vehicle

Slippery roads caused an accident involving a Highway Patrol vehicle near the on ramp of exit 50 on Interstate 29 on Sunday afternoon. Highway Patrol officer Joel Liebl was investigating a crash. He and two other people were sitting in his car without seatbelts on Devon Stephons, 19, of Valley City lost control of his car and hit the patrol car.

Liebl wasn`t injured. His two passengers and stephens were treated for minor injuries.
