Attorneys for Alfonso Rodriguez File New Documents | Video

Valley News Live | 2/26/2013

Attorneys for convicted killer Alfonso Rodriguez are supplying evidence they say should keep him off death row. Rodriguez was found guilty in the kidnapping and killing of UND student Dru Sjodin in 2003.

His attorneys have filed documents saying he was traumatized by repeated sexual abuse as a child. They say a doctor also diagnosed Rodriguez with a brain malformation, which he says provides a basis for understanding Rodriguez`s offenses and why he shouldn`t be eligible for the death penalty.
