Sequestration and Food Inspectors | Video

Another big industry in North Dakota looking at cuts if sequestration goes into effect is agriculture. If USDA food inspectors are laid off, that could mean meat packing plants across the country will shut down temporarily.

That means ranchers in North Dakota or anywhere else won`t have anywhere to sell their beef. The North Dakota Stockmen`s Association says that means ranchers will have to continue to feed their cows, which costs them money.
