Travel Alert Issued For Northwest and North Central North Dakota

| 3/3/2013

The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) has issued a Travel Alert the cities of Williston, Minot, Devils Lake and surrounding areas due to areas of scattered ice and snow drifts. Conditions are such that motorists can still travel in these areas, but should be advised that wet roads are starting to turn to ice as temperatures drop and conditions are expected to deteriorate throughout the night. Motorists are encouraged to reduce speeds and drive according to the conditions.

All travelers are encouraged to monitor road conditions as weather conditions occur and use caution while traveling. A Travel Alert has the potential to change to a No Travel Advised if conditions deteriorate. More information can be found at www.dot.nd.gov
