No Travel Advisory Extended to Parts of Western ND

| 3/4/2013

The NDDOT has extended a No Travel Advisory to include more areas in the western part of the state. The advisory has been extended to include areas in western North Dakota north of I-94 due to heavy snow and continuous ice and areas of zero visibility. This includes Killdeer, Grassy Butte, Squaw Gap, and surrounding areas.

A No Travel Advisory was issued earlier for the northwest part of the state due to heavy snow and reduced visibility. The advisory includes the cities of Williston, Watford City, Tioga, Stanley, New Town, Crosby, Bowbells and surrounding areas.

A Travel Alert is still in effect for Minot, Devils Lake, Grand Forks and surrounding areas.

A No Travel Advisory remains in place for the Jamestown and Valley City areas due to ice covered roadways.
