Highway Patrol Says to Stay Inside

Sarahbeth Ackerman | 3/4/2013

The highway patrol is asking people to not drive out to rural areas like north of Stanley and Crosby. The consistency of the snow is piling up and the DOT will not have snow plows out after dark.

Highways 2 and 83 are open. But if the snow keeps piling up, they will have to put gates up to shut down the highway. This means troopers will not be able to attend to crashes or people who are stuck. As the highway patrol will be unable to get through the drifts.
