Relay for Life Pub Crawl | Video

Van Tieu | 3/10/2013

Relay for Life is betting on a cure for cancer, but four Bismarck bar owners put their own twist on things by drinking for life. Rowdy fundraisers tapped into the third annual Relay for Life Pub Crawl today.

Drinking festivities started this afternoon at the Colonial and onward to Lonesome Dove, Captain Freddy`s and the final stop at Broken Oar, where owner Stacy Keller says the event is very special to him.

"My dad recently died of cancer three years ago. Rick`s dad from Captain Freddie`s died five years ago. And we just keep turning this event bigger and bigger every year. All the money goes to a great cause and we`re just happy to be a part of it."

Each year, the pub crawl raises two to three thousand dollars for cancer research.
