Oil Patch Fatalities | Video

Chris Williams | 3/12/2013

March isn`t even half over, and there have already been four fatal accidents in western North Dakota. Weather has played a part in some of the crashes, but the Highway Patrol says no matter what the road conditions are, drivers need to slow down.

"Everbody`s in a hurry, everybody needs to realize that there`s a lot more traffic. It`s going to take you maybe a little bit longer to get to some place than it normally does," said Brett Mlynar with the NDHP.

So far this year, there have been 19 traffic fatalities in North Dakota.
