Travel Alert Extended to North Central and Northeast ND

| 3/15/2013

The North Dakota Department of Transportation has extended their Travel Alert to the north central and northeast parts of the state because of heavy snow and blowing snow causing reduced visibility and snow covered roadways with areas of scattered drifts. Areas include the cities of Minot, Devils Lake, Grand Forks and surrounding areas.

A Travel Alert is still in effect for southeast North Dakota, including the cities of Jamestown, Ellendale, Valley City, Fargo, Wahpeton and surrounding areas.

A Travel Alert means that people can still travel in those areas, but should slow down and drive according to the conditions.

Road information can be found by dialing 511 or visiting www.dot.nd.gov.
