The North Dakota Department of Transportation and the North Dakota Highway Patrol have issued a No Travel Advisory for northwest and north central North Dakota including the cities of Williston, Minot, Kenmare, Bottineau and Garrison due to high winds causing blowing snow, areas of near zero visibility, compacted snow and continuous ice on roadways. A Travel Alert is still in effect for southeast North Dakota including the cities of Jamestown, Valley City, Fargo, Wahpeton and surrounding areas. Conditions are such that motorists can still travel in these areas. Motorists are encouraged to reduce speeds and drive according to the conditions.
