The Blue Jays wear the biggest bullseye in all of Class A as the defending state champs.
This year`s Stanley-Powers Lake squad will open up the passing game a little more with almost all their skill players back.
On defense, it`s again a smash-mouth attitude.
The Jays know they have to be tough, seeing the best effort opponents have to offer each week.
<"To have the success we had last year, you have to have luck along the way and get some breaks," head coach Lyne Enget says. "if we don`t get the breaks, it`s gonna be tough. But we try to make our own breaks. And we believe we`re going to be competitive this year."
"Everyone`s looking to beat us," senior linebacker/guard Keegan Muraski says. "That`s just more motivation for us - more pushing to be better."
The Blue Jays` season opener is Saturday the 25th in Westhope against W-N-G.
