They were the favorite heading into the season and it is playing out that way on the golf course. Century has won every West Region tournament so far and the girls are playing at the Belcourt Invitational today. The Patriots have won when it`s been tight, they took the Williston Invitational by only three shots, but closer to 30-strokes has been closer to the norm.

You don`t do that without depth.

"All of my girls, all six of them, are playing well and they`ve all contributed this year. They`ve all contributed to the team which is really fun so if one girls has an off day it seems like someone lower in the team always comes up and pulls up and does well for us so they`re doing really well this year," said head coach Cherlene Nelson.

After a few events, Annie Nelson took over in the number one position and that seemed to make the team more stable and the scores have reflected it.

"The last couple of tournaments she has, Alex Leidholm just does a little bit better at the number two spot so we kind of switched them up and Annie is becoming comfortable at that number one spot so we kind of put her there now," she said.
