CFL All-Star | Video

Lee Timmerman | 12/3/2012

There`s another first in the professional football life of Weston Dressler. The Bismarck native is on the CFL All-Star team. Dressler had career highs in catches, yards and touchdowns. It`s the fourth time in his five year career that Weston has gone over the thousand yard receiving mark. He also emerged as a team leader this season.

"It`s strange to say, but I am one of the longest-tenured guys on the team right now and there are only a few guys that have been there longer than I have. So just having that experience, you kind of learn to expect that roll and just run with it. Because the guys who are new to the CFL, and new to the team, they really look to those guys for their answers and to learn new things about the league with the rule difference and all of that. So mostly experience that I have in the league has built me into that role," he said.

Dressler had 94 catches for over 1,200 yards with 13 touchdowns for the Roughriders, who made it to the Grey Cup semi-finals.
