Of all the Gatorade Boys Cross Country runners of the Year winners in the 50-states, picking North Dakota`s had to be one of the easiest. Bismarck High`s Jake Leingang earned the honor for the second year in a row. Leingang joined Corey Ihmels as the only Class A boys to win three straight state cross country titles.

Jake also finished third at the National Foot Locker championships in San Diego. Leingang has committed to run for the University of Oregon in college.
