BHS Improvement is Showing | Video

The West Region hockey team that has shown the most improvement this year is probably Bismarck High. Take yesterday as an example, the Demons split with Mandan during the regular season and on Thursday BHS dominated the Braves 7-0. They also had some big wins prior to the playoffs.

"They didn`t prove anything to me because I knew they got them in there but I think they proved it more to themselves that they can compete and play with just about anybody if they put their minds to it and play a certain way so hopefully that was a big learning tool and they utilize that down the stretch," said head coach Mike Peluso.

"We`ve had different players start to show big that maybe weren`t as much throughout the season and just as a team we`ve been buying into the system more and playing as one," said forward Cooper Cox.

Bismarck plays Minot in the second semi-final game.
