A strong storm system will move into The First Warn Viewing Region tonight along with cool air which will cause a mix of rain and snow to develop early tonight from Williston to Minot and into south central North Dakota. A broad swath of heavy wet snow with accumulations of 3 to 5 inches are possible over portions of western and central North Dakota tonight into Saturday morning.
Highs today will peak in the low 50s with a good chance of rain showers throughout the day. Winds Friday will be out of the northeast at 5-15 MPH.
Tonight lows will drop into the upper 20s and low 30s with rain and snow developing.
Saturday highs will remain 10-15 degrees below normal with temps reaching the low to mid 50s.
Mother`s Day looks to be a little warmer and dry with highs in the low to mid 60s.
