	FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Date: 9/26/12 Contact: Therese Besemann Phone: 701.837.4724 therese@independencecil.org 4th Annual Independent Living Fair Independence, Inc., A Resource Center for Independent Living, a Minot based disability rights organization, will be hosting the 4th Annual Independent Living Fair on October 25th, 2012 from 2pm - 5pm at the Sleep Inn & Suites convention room, located at Dakota Square Mall, Minot. We welcome the general public, people with disabilities and care providers to attend this free event. Information will be available on a variety of products, services and resources from organizations committed to supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently as contributing members of the community. A voter education workshop on voting rights, polling sites and other important information will be provided. Free refreshments and door prizes. This is the only regional fair designed especially for people with disabilities. The mission of Independence, Inc. is to advocate for the freedom of choice for individuals with disabilities to live independently through the removal of all barriers. Independence serves 11 counties in northwest North Dakota. # # #
