Main Street Minute: Sephora

Good news for fans of skin care, makeup and fragrances. A new beauty business has arrived in the Magic City.

"Thank goodness we`re in Minot. Thank goodness we have Bare Minerals," said Stacy Wood, a beauty leader with Sephora.

That`s just some of the reactions that Wood heard from her happy customers this past weekend. "We like being a part of people`s lives. And, really making a difference in the way they feel about themselves."

In order to keep their customers happy, the beauty leaders and consultants must be properly trained.

"We went through really intensive training with people from Sephora who traveled to Minot to teach us everything we need to know, about every single brand in the store. And, that way we can really consult to their needs," said Wood.

One of the unique features in Sephora is the beauty studio. This is where you can stop by for 10 to 15 minutes for a free makeover.

"Basically, we want to show you how to use your products the best way possible. So, you really get the most out of them and the most for your money," said Wood.

Sephora offers the latest and greatest products in makeup, skin care and fragrances.

Sephora`s grand opening begins this Friday, May 3 starting at 10:00 a.m. in JCPenny`s. The first 100 people will get a makeup bag and a gift card up to $100.
