Main Street Minute: 22nd Avenue Southwest

Posted: Updated:

If you've been driving along 22nd Avenue Southwest in Minot, you may have noticed all the construction. The sound of the construction is all too familiar for North Dakotans, especially for a growing city like Minot.

There's been a lot of talk about what businesses are being built on 22nd Avenue Southwest. According to city officials, the Magic City will be welcoming three new businesses.

It doesn't look like much now, but come late summer, the residents of Minot will be enjoying a Longhorn Steakhouse, Panera Bread and Company and a second Starbucks. The second Starbucks will come in handy to alleviate some of the drive-thru traffic.

The southwest side of town will continue to grow with the community.
According to the contractors, the Longhorn sign will be up by August. They're hoping they will open their doors this September.

The opening dates for Starbucks and Panera are still pending
