Main Street Minute: IRET Properties

Posted: Updated:

If you've been driving along 16th street at the south end of Minot, you may have noticed all of the construction and new stores. Behind the new Cashwise Grocery, Petco and Sonic, some new apartments are coming to town.

"We have an apartment for anybody"

Regional Manager Jamie Sison says the property management company, IRET started their business just two years ago. Because Minot expanded so fast, so did IRET. In that time, they constructed and completed 16 complexes in Minot.

"We really take our time and do our diligence on what is needed in Minot and what people want," Sison said.

If 16 complexes were not enough for this booming town, they're constructing another apartment. The Landing will have three buildings with 108 units available.  There will be several amenities like in unit washer and dryer, a garage, and a balcony or patio.

What's great about this apartment is that they're pet friendly.

"I know a lot of people that move into town that have pets. They are like family to a lot of people. So, being able to find a place that you can actually keep your pets in is going to be a big perk for them," said Sison.

It doesn't stop there for your furry friends. Once the second building is completed, they will be installing a communal dog park so The Landing residents can let their animals run free.

The Landing offers one, two and three bedrooms. All three buildings are being constructed now, but will open in phases. They are expected to open on July 8, August 1 and Augest 15.
