Standing Water Keeps Minot Public Works Busy

After several days of constant rain in the Magic City, standing water on roads and ditches has kept the Minot Public Works office busy, especially during the last 24-hours.

Minot Public Works was forced to block off several streets in Minot last night after getting reports of pooling water. Some of those areas include 7th Avenue Southwest, 22nd Street Southwest, 16th Street Southwest, and North Broadway near Jerome's Collision Center.

All of those areas have been reopened, except the North Broadway area, which is expected to open again sometime today.

If you notice any standing water along the roads within the city of Minot, contact Central Dispatch at 852-0111.
