More Money for Water Projects

Posted: Updated:

The population boom in western North Dakota is creating the need for more infrastructure, especially water.

That is why the state land board committed $71 million in energy impact grand funds to help communities in the oil patch.

Crosby, New Town, Ray Alexander, Watford City and Killdeer will receive money to help complete water and wastewater facilities.

The state will provide a total of $240 million in grants during the next biennium.
