Rough Rider Car Show

Posted: Updated:

The Rough Rider Chevrolet Association sponsored an area car show today at the Elks Lodge in Bismarck.

The show was open to the public with no admission cost, but there was a free-will donation box available, and the money raised will be going to Camp Grassick. Car enthusiasts alike came down to help out a good cause, while still checking out some of their favorite automobiles.

"We are seeing a mixture...mostly classics," says Chuck Horter, President of the Rough Rider Chevrolet Car Club. "You have your fifties and sixties cars. That's the general theme, but you also have your modern cars, such as corvets and some unique things. Even military vehicles."

Camp Grassick is a camp for children and adults with various disabilities and special needs. There will be six different camping sessions this summer focusing on different needs - therapy for children between the ages of 7-15, social interaction with peers, and adults with disabilites.
