Main Street Minute: True Value

Posted: Updated:

If you're a Minot resident, you probably know that there are several shops and restaurants on the south side of town, but as of last week, North Hill welcomed some new businesses.

Les Pierson knows all to well about making the drive from one part of Minot to another.

"Who wants to sit in their vehicle and drive across town and fight the traffic?" asks True Value store manager Les Pierson.

But, a lot of that travel time can be eliminated with the new True Value on Minot's North Hill.

"We want them to have a great experience. We want them to come in and get the help they need. And, then get home and get their project done. And, get it done right," says Pierson.

So, for those folks that are interested in do-it-yourself projects, True Value offers a wide variety of tools to make home improvements easier.

One of the cool features that True Value offers is the rental department. All you have to do is call, and you can rent out equipment.

And, in the end, Pierson says it's all about giving the customer the tools they need to create their very own design.

"I guess it's a personal satisfaction to yourself, that you did it," says Pierson.

True Value offers a variety of items for all your home improvement projects, such as hardware, garden and paint supplies.
