The summer is a great time to get back into shape.

But, now-a-days a lot of people are hoping for immediate results. And, that could cause some muscles injuries.

 If you haven't worked out in awhile, Andrea Ladner, a group fitness coordinator at the YMCA in Minot suggests preparing your body before you start those intense workouts.

 "I think the most important thing to do is start out slow. Take it easy. Maybe do a few minutes at a time. Make sure you stretch out your muscles to avoid injuries. And, then progress the further you get along, the more comfortable you get within your workout," says Andrea Ladner, Group Fitness Coordinator, YMCA.

 The YMCA offers a range of beginner classes that can help anyone get into shape.
