Williston State College is saying "no" to tobacco.
The school approved a policy to become tobacco-free on August 26. Now it's going to a committee to be implemented. It will ban cigarettes, e-cigarettes and chewing tobacco on campus and all other school-owned properties.
Williston State will join a number of other tobacco-free schools in North Dakota, including Bismarck State, Minot State, Dickinson State and the University of Mary.
Enforcement will begin on November 1.
