Department of Public Works Launches Online Bill Pay

Posted: Updated:

Paying for your water is on it's way to going paperless, thanks to a new billing system. Starting in October the Department of Public Works will be using new software for their water billing operations. Customers can avoid the drop box and pay online instead.

"The customers won't notice a change in the way a bill looks, what they will notice is that they may get their bill at a different time than they have in the past," says director of utility operations Keith Demke.

Customers who pay using their credit cards are encouraged to check their mail for information on how to set up with the new system. And you still have 15 days after your billing date to pay.
