Police Arrest New Town Man After Ten-Mile Chase

A New Town man is currently being held at Ward County Jail after the Minot Police Department say they chased him after he hit a vehicle and left the scene.

The driver, identified as 24-year-old Joseph P. Bad Hawk of New Town hit the vehicle in the 3300 block of West Highway 2 and 52 on Monday afternoon.

Officers say Bad Hawk left the scene and multiple agencies chased him ten miles south of Stanley.

Bad Hawk was taken into custody and was charged with fleeing, driving under the influence and reckless endangerment.
