Sex Offender Notification

The individual whose name appears on this notification has been convicted of a crime against a child or an attempted crime against a child, or has pleaded guilty to a sexual offense. In accordance with North Dakota State Law this individual must register as a sexual offender or an offender against children.

The offender is not wanted by the police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. This notification is not intended to increase fear in the community.

Information narrative: Jarrett Leslie was convicted of gross sexual imposition in Barnes County District Court on December 13, 2011.  Mr. Leslie was 17 years old when he was having sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old female victim for a five month period in 2010.  The 13-year-old female victim became pregnant with Mr. Leslie's child.  Mr. Leslie received a sentence of five years in prison with three years suspended.
