Bismarck Women Report Home Invasions

Posted: Updated:

Bismarck police are looking for a suspect who they believe is connected with two separate home invasions. Between 7:30 and 7:45 on Saturday morning, an 18-year-old woman woke up to find a man standing in her room. When he noticed she was awake, he shut the bedroom door and left. Later, the woman's 20-year-old female roommate noticed her wallet had been moved to the hallway and about $150 was missing.

About a half hour later in the 2400 block of north 9th street, a 21-year-old woman also woke up to a man standing in her room, next to her purse. The male again left when he noticed the woman was awake.

The invasions occurred on the 2400 blocks of North 8th Street and North 9th Street. Police say there was evidence of a forced entry.

The suspect is still on the loose. Police are looking for a white male between the ages of 30 and 39 with brown hair and a crew cut. He is described as wearing a baseball hat, construction shirt, blue jeans and boots.
