New Street Light Lights Up

Posted: Updated:

If you've driven along 16th Street Southwest and 31st Avenue Southwest lately, you've probably noticed the new traffic signal that's been installed. And, today it was officially turned on and put in the flash mood. This helps alert drivers of the new signal and also helps people get more acquainted with the new signal before it goes into full operation.

During this period, motorists on 16th Street Southwest have a flashing yellow light to drive with caution while motorists on 31st Avenue Southwest have a flashing red light requiring them to come to a complete stop.

The signal is tentatively scheduled to be in full operation tomorrow at 4 p.m.
