The State's National Parks Reopen

Posted: Updated:

Now that the government shutdown is over, three national parks in our state are once again open for visitors.

Theodore Roosevelt National Park, Fort Union Trading Post National Historic Site and Knife River Indian Villages National Historic Site have now reopened. All public areas and roads are open as they were scheduled before the shutdown began.

The three parks were closed from October 1st through the 16th because of the shutdown.
