Schools Teach Computer Literacy

Posted: Updated:

Bismarck's three public middle schools are integrating their students computer skills into the entire curriculum.

"What we do is we provide a few resources for them. You know, you have a couple of choices, you can use this tool, this tool, or this tool. They're all with in the Google platform, because we're a Google district, and so then the students like the fact that they get to choose. There's that little bit of freedom there," says Chad Even, 21st Century Digital Literacy teacher.

The district says the class will also teach students how to become positive digital citizens.
