Paying it Forward

Posted: Updated:

It may only be the beginning of November, but a local business started the season of giving a little early this year.

A couple who spends most of their time on the road looking for work was passing through town on Friday afternoon when they started having some transmission trouble with their car. They decided to go to Dvorak Motors to have a mechanic look at the vehicle, only to find out that the problems with the car weren't fixable.

After speaking with the couple for a while, owners and employees decided that the couple was pretty genuine and could probably use some help, so  they did something a little out of the ordinary.

"Delayne goes, well I haven't bought anyone a vehicle lately and he told me to go down to the care center and to pick up a van that was traded in and cliff went and got the couple and brought them in what'd you tell them," says sales associate, Stacey Hauff.

"I told them that they weren't leaving this place without a vehicle it was a pretty touching moment for all of us," says sales associate, Cliff Hon. "I mean they inspired us more, right now it's a Facebook craze but truly that couple has inspired us delayed has done so much for this community and we've all watched and we've all learned its all about giving back to the community so that's when I stepped up and Jason Dvorak stepped up and Dan Evans and Austin roller and we said Delayne's not going to pay for it himself so were gunna help out "
