Inside Business: Gold's Gym

Posted: Updated:

After six years of being open in Bismarck, Gold's Gym is continuing to grow. For this week's inside Business Jim Christianson will show  you how the gym is striving to be a healthy place to hangout.

Aaron Moos, the owner of Gold's Gym, wanted to bring a workout facility to Bismarck that wasn't like the rest. He wanted to incorporate state of the art equipment, a sense of community and a place where clients could be comfortable without worrying about it affecting their budget.

"So many times I hear I cant afford it or its too expensive well we just said you know what not anymore it isn't for 9.95 you can come in and enjoy all this and we find that it takes a lot of pressure off and we don't talk about money anymore we just talk about he lath and that's what I like," says Moos.

Moos says that while gold's gym offers all of the traditional cardiovascular and weightlifting equipment the experience here is about the whole body

"We bring you in and we give you a personal assessment and discuss a healthy, nutritious way to meet your goals," says Moos.

"Gold's offers a variety of fitness classes, personal training, and updated technology to keep it's clients entertained while they work-out," says Jim Christianson.

"I really think it's important, entertainment, when you're working out, it makes people want to stay longer, they have a lot more fun, they actually burn a lot more calories because they are not thinking about it," says Moos.

"But Moos says that the tight-knit atmosphere of the gym is what set's it apart from others in Bismarck," says Christianson.

"That's the one thing we touch on is that everybody has weights and classes and all these thing but that personal touch, we want it to be a family, when someone joins we want to welcome them in with open arms, we want to say he we want to help you," says Moos.

Gold's Gym is located on south 5th street in the Kirkwood mall parking lot.
