High School Students Participate in Ethics Day

Posted: Updated:

More than 150 local high school students today got a lesson in ethics. Courtesy of the Career Academy at Bismarck State College.

Ethics day is a way to inspire students to give more thought to professional and personal issues dealing with right and wrong. Business and community leaders led the students in group discussions.

"Every day each of us are faced with an ethical decision. And we need a good foundation and an outlet to be able to talk and discuss how to handle situations. This was a good format to bring that to the students," says Sheri Haugen-Hoffart.

The North Dakota Chamber of Commerce has been hosting the event for more than 13 years.
