Cannonball Man Pleads Guilty to Assault Charge

A Cannonball man accused of assaulting a federal officer pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court today. Christopher Thunder Hawk, 19, kicked a BIA police officer in the chest on Dec. 30, 2012.

He faces a maximum penalty of eight years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.

Thunder Hawk will appear for sentencing on April 14.
