Cold Temperatures Affect Wrestling Teams

Posted: Updated:

The Civic Center hosted a high school wrestling tournament today and organizers are hoping the weather doesn't affect teams getting home.

Twenty eight teams from across four states showed up to compete in the tournament that began at 8 am this morning and lasted all day. Teams from Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana and South Dakota are now battling fierce weather to get back home. Organizers say most teams came on buses.

"Well, it's going to be tough and it's supposed to get tougher tonight, so hopefully they'll be on the road and home or wait until it's over," says Rotary Club Chair, Dennis Meyer.
