I-94 Closed From Bismarck To Fargo; Highway 83 Closed From Bismarck To Minot

The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) and the North Dakota Highway Patrol have CLOSED the I-94 eastbound and westbound lanes from Bismarck to Fargo due to zero visibility and multiple accidents. 

US-83 northbound and southbound lanes from Bismarck to Minot have also been CLOSED due to zero visibility and multiple accidents.

ND Highway 13 from I-29 to Wahpeton has also been CLOSED due to high winds causing areas of zero visibility and hazardous travel conditions.

I-29 northbound and southbound lanes from the Canadian border to the South Dakota state line are closed due to high winds causing areas of zero visibility and hazardous travel conditions.

Motorists are reminded of the following advisories still in effect:

A No Travel Advisory remains in effect for the cities of Minot, Devils Lake, Grand Forks, Bismarck, Jamestown, Valley City, Fargo, Wahpeton and surrounding areas due to blowing and drifting snow causing zero visibility.

A Travel Alert remains in effect for the cities of Williston, Watford City, Stanley, New Town, Glen Ullin, Flasher and Selfridge surrounding areas due to blowing and drifting snow causing reduced visibility.

All travelers are encouraged to monitor road conditions as weather conditions occur and use caution while traveling. For road information, call 511 from any type of phone or go to the website: www.dot.nd.gov.
