Home Energy Assistance Helps Families Heat There Homes

Posted: Updated:

North Dakota will receive more than $3.4 million in federal resources through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program to help families, Native American tribes and seniors heat their homes this winter.

Tribes should apply directly to the State of North Dakota to receive the funding, which is then distributed to those on the reservation who qualify. Eligible families who live outside the reservation should also contact the state for assistance.
