What's Trending 01/31/14

Posted: Updated:
Trending this week, a YouTube video gone viral of a man surprising his mom with tickets to the Super Bowl.

YouTube user, Mike Harris, posted this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sO0fnKdPgxc&feature=youtu.be) of his mom who happens to be a die-hard Seahawks fan. In the description of the video, Harris said he thought the tickets were going to be too expensive at first, but he ended up finding them for $1,000 cheaper. He says, his mom has been a SeaHawks fan for 35 years. She went to the team's send-off in Seattle with no idea she'd be joining them at the game.

Also trending this week, a historical broadway musical is hitting a Bismarck stage.

"A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Forum" opened on Thursday night and is running for 2 weeks at Dakota Stage on Main Street in Bismarck. It's a show full of laughs, mistaken identities, lavish costumes and an amazing hand-made set. Director, Debi Rogers says, coming to the show should be a no-brainer.

"It's really, really cold outside. It's warm in the theater. You're going to be laughing so much you won't be able to contain yourself. Your energy level will raise and it's just so much fun. It's a delightful, entertaining evening." says Rogers.

Here's the information:

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays through Saturdays and at 2 p.m. on Sundays through February 9. You can get your tickets online at dakotastageltd.com, via phone at 701-258-4998.
