Lots of the customers that hang out at The Dark Side of the Brew know all about the bond between this café and the band, Pink Floyd.
"I like that they tried to match the flavor of the song with the flavor of the sandwich, like the Lunatic has a spicy bite to it where the song is kinda a spicy song," says Pink Floyd Fan, Albert Schmalenberger.
"The Lunatic has got some horseradish and I guess it might make you go a little crazy, it has a bit of a kick to it," says Dark Side of the Brew Co-Owner, Aaron Anderson.
Aaron Anderson and his wife Miranda named all the items on their menu after songs written by the 70s rock group, but this place grooves to a lot more than a few creative sandwich slogans.
"It's more about coffee," says Miranda.
Dark Side of the Brew coffee is as exotic as the paninis that are served up here.
The original paintings and handmade jewelery hung around the cafe are for sale by local artists.
"I consider us a little bit of a gift shop as well," says Miranda. "We are very supportive of anybody that wants to do handmade items and sell them here."
Sara Fuleright sells cutting edge earrings and necklaces.
"I like the natural stones, so I use stones that are unique, laborite has gorgeous iridescence to it," says Sara.
You don't have to be a radical Pink Floyd fan to really dig this place.
"I like to listen to Pink Floyd, can't say I know a whole lot about them," says customer, Levi Wetzel. "Pretty clueless there."
Levi Wetzel isn't the only customer who isn't up to speed with the rock groups historical record, but you don't have to be a devote fan to consume and enjoy the food and culture of a café known for it's far out fare.
